Handcrafted Pantelleria Ceramics from the Mangiallegro Line
Pantelleria is a volcanic island between Sicily and Africa, known for dark stone, terraced landscapes and a striking identity. Its name identifies a Mangiallegro pattern that is distinct from the Dammusi collection.
The link with the island lies in the name and the Mediterranean atmosphere it suggests; it should not be confused with the architectural subject of Dammusi. Pantelleria has its own decoration, expressed through Ceramiche De Simone's artistic language across everyday objects.
The Pantelleria design belongs to the artistic tradition of Ceramiche De Simone, where craftsmanship and imagination meet. Hand-painted decoration gives the pattern its character across many different ceramic forms.
