Tramontana

Handcrafted Tramontana Ceramics from the Mangiallegro Line

Tramontana is the northerly wind, long familiar to communities across the Mediterranean. Ceramiche De Simone uses its name for a Mangiallegro pattern alongside other designs named after winds.

It is a poetic name for a composition: it suggests direction and character without implying that the artwork literally depicts the wind. As with the brand's other ceramics, skilled hands bring the colour and decoration to life.

This ability to turn a reference into a personal visual language belongs to the heritage of Giovanni De Simone. In Tramontana, hand-painted decoration connects shapes, colour and the objects we use in daily life.

Tramontana Dinnerware Sets and Hand-Painted Ceramics for Everyday Life

Build a dinnerware set to suit your table: round plates in the Tramontana pattern offer choices for dinner, soup, fruit and pizza plates, with sizes and quantities selected individually. For at a family lunch, appetizer dishes and serving platters provide more ways to share food. Coordinating table accessories bring the setting together, while other Mangiallegro patterns can be mixed in for a more personal combination.

The Tramontana pattern also belongs to the quieter moments between meals. Ceramic mugs fit naturally into breakfast or an afternoon break, while espresso cups carry the same design into an after-lunch coffee. In the kitchen, you can also discover kitchen accessories, including cutlery holders, bottle and utensil holders, oil and vinegar sets, bringing the artwork into practical daily routines.

The design also appears in the bathroom, with soap dispensers and toothbrush holders. These are handcrafted, hand-painted ceramics, chosen for both their practical purpose and Ceramiche De Simone's distinctive artistic decoration.
