The decoration wraps around the whole surface of the bucket and tells the story of a day at sea: on one side, the fisherman – wearing an orange sweater and blue cap – stands on his green boat with red stripes, sailing over stylised blue waves among small fish and a flag hoisted at the stern. On the other side, the main character is a large yellow-and-orange fish, surrounded by blue water and a deep red sun, in a play of lines and colours that is unmistakably De Simone. A cheerful and dynamic marine scene that instantly brings a Mediterranean feel to the table.
