Ischia

Handcrafted Ischia Ceramics from the Mangiallegro Line

Ischia, a volcanic island in the Bay of Naples, evokes striking scenery, coastal villages and a long tradition of hospitality. Its name identifies a design in the Mangiallegro line by Ceramiche De Simone.

The geographical reference becomes a starting point for an artistic story, rather than a photographic reproduction. Expressive brushwork and a distinctive pattern connect creativity with everyday use, a hallmark of De Simone's handcrafted ceramics.

This ability to turn a reference into a personal visual language belongs to the heritage of Giovanni De Simone. In Ischia, hand-painted decoration connects shapes, colour and the objects we use in daily life.
