Levante

Handcrafted Levante Ceramics from the Mangiallegro Line

Levante is the easterly wind, a familiar name along Mediterranean shores. In the Mangiallegro line, it becomes a Ceramiche De Simone design, part of a group of patterns whose names look to winds, the sea and movement.

A wind has no fixed shape; it changes the sky, water and the feel of a day. That meaning, rather than any claim that the design literally depicts the wind, offers a way to appreciate the lively brushwork and artistic character of Levante.

This ability to turn a reference into a personal visual language belongs to the heritage of Giovanni De Simone. In Levante, hand-painted decoration connects shapes, colour and the objects we use in daily life.

Levante Dinnerware Sets and Hand-Painted Ceramics for Everyday Life

Build a dinnerware set to suit your table: round plates in the Levante pattern offer choices for dinner, soup, fruit and pizza plates, with sizes and quantities selected individually. For at a Sunday lunch, appetizer dishes and serving platters provide more ways to share food. Coordinating table accessories bring the setting together, while other Mangiallegro patterns can be mixed in for a more personal combination.

The Levante pattern also belongs to the quieter moments between meals. Ceramic mugs fit naturally into breakfast or an afternoon break, while espresso cups carry the same design into an after-lunch coffee. In the kitchen, you can also discover kitchen accessories, including spoon rests, cutlery holders, bottle and utensil holders, bringing the artwork into practical daily routines.

The design also appears in the bathroom, with soap dispensers and toothbrush holders. These are handcrafted, hand-painted ceramics, chosen for both their practical purpose and Ceramiche De Simone's distinctive artistic decoration.
