The Lobster fabric placemat from the Mare collection is designed to enrich your table with an original, lively detail full of personality, making it ideal for lunches, dinners and special occasions.
The lobster, a subject already featured in other Ceramiche De Simone creations, gains unprecedented prominence in the Mare collection: the iconic blue wave motif typical of the Mangiallegro line frames the central figure, creating an original fusion between two expressions of the De Simone style.
This combination preserves the simple, spontaneous and instantly recognisable character of the Folk line while renewing it with a more modern and dynamic touch. The result is a cheerful and colourful marine design celebrating the sea as one of the most representative elements of Sicily, its natural beauty and its long-standing maritime culture.
Each placemat features a fabric outer layer and a double-sided plastic-coated cardboard insert, 2.5 mm thick, which provides structure while keeping it lightweight and practical to use. To preserve the decoration and materials, we recommend cleaning it with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
