Itaca

Handcrafted Itaca Ceramics from the Mangiallegro Line

For centuries, Ithaca has been associated with the sea, homecomings and journeys through the story of Odysseus. In Ceramiche De Simone's Mangiallegro line, Itaca becomes a design where marine and animal-inspired motifs meet vibrant colour.

This connection with the Odyssey does not mean that the decoration illustrates scenes from the epic. Instead, the collection's name opens a window onto the Mediterranean imagination, bringing a sense of storytelling into everyday objects.

The personality of Itaca comes to life through traditional craftsmanship and hand-painted decoration. The ceramics are not just surfaces for artwork: they become part of the rituals of cooking, dining and welcoming guests.

Itaca Dinnerware Sets and Hand-Painted Ceramics for Everyday Life

Build a dinnerware set to suit your table: round plates in the Itaca pattern offer choices for dinner, soup, fruit and pizza plates, with sizes and quantities selected individually. For when welcoming friends at home, appetizer dishes and serving platters provide more ways to share food. Coordinating table accessories bring the setting together, while other Mangiallegro patterns can be mixed in for a more personal combination.

The Itaca pattern also belongs to the quieter moments between meals. Ceramic mugs fit naturally into breakfast or an afternoon break, while espresso cups carry the same design into an after-lunch coffee. In the kitchen, you can also discover kitchen accessories, including spoon rests, cutlery holders, bottle and utensil holders, bringing the artwork into practical daily routines.

The design also appears in the bathroom, with soap dispensers and toothbrush holders. For other rooms, the collection also includes ceramic vases and plant pots in the Itaca design. These are handcrafted, hand-painted ceramics, chosen for both their practical purpose and Ceramiche De Simone's distinctive artistic decoration.
