Handcrafted Marettimo Ceramics from the Mangiallegro Line
Marettimo is one of the Aegadian Islands west of Sicily, known for its mountainous landscape and close connection with the sea. The Mangiallegro design bearing its name belongs to the Mediterranean geography that runs through De Simone's artistic universe.
Whatever the subject, the brand's ceramics share an ability to transform practical objects into expressive surfaces. Marettimo invites you to discover this connection across different pieces featuring the same design.
This ability to turn a reference into a personal visual language belongs to the heritage of Giovanni De Simone. In Marettimo, hand-painted decoration connects shapes, colour and the objects we use in daily life.
Marettimo Dinnerware Sets and Hand-Painted Ceramics for Everyday Life
Build a dinnerware set to suit your table: round plates in the Marettimo pattern offer choices for dinner, soup, fruit and pizza plates, with sizes and quantities selected individually. For at a family lunch, appetizer dishes and serving platters provide more ways to share food. Coordinating table accessories bring the setting together, while other Mangiallegro patterns can be mixed in for a more personal combination.
The Marettimo pattern also belongs to the quieter moments between meals. Ceramic mugs fit naturally into breakfast or an afternoon break, while espresso cups carry the same design into an after-lunch coffee. In the kitchen, you can also discover kitchen accessories, including cutlery holders, bottle and utensil holders, oil and vinegar sets, bringing the artwork into practical daily routines.
The design also appears in the bathroom, with soap dispensers and toothbrush holders. Other pieces, such as Christmas decorations, offer another way to enjoy the pattern. These are handcrafted, hand-painted ceramics, chosen for both their practical purpose and Ceramiche De Simone's distinctive artistic decoration.
