Round decorative ceramic plate made entirely by hand by our artisans and hand-painted with the Fishing subject from the DS line. With its 45 cm diameter, the plate depicts a bustling scene of life by the sea, populated by fishermen, boats and colourful fish, transforming one of the Mediterranean's oldest traditions into a vibrant ceramic painting.
The deep blue sea provides the backdrop for a composition filled with characters and small narrative details. A large circular net brimming with colourful fish dominates the upper part of the plate, alongside the Carmela boat and figures engaged in different fishing activities. Fishermen, tools and other elements inspired by maritime life come together in a dynamic scene, where reds, yellows, greens and turquoise tones stand out against the intense blue of the water. Bold outlines and stylised forms give the composition all the energy, playful spirit and expressive immediacy that characterise the distinctive DS style by Ceramiche De Simone.
